Now in invite-only pilot

From conversation to done.

Team chat, meetings and projects, plus AI agents that plan and update the work with you.

Chat in one app. Calls in another. Tasks over here, docs over there, and a calendar nobody checks. Sound familiar? What if it all just worked together?

Meet buildIt.social. Channels for every team and client. DMs for the quick stuff. And yes: GIFs, reactions, and your very own custom emoji. Work should be fun.

Jump into a call right from the conversation. Share your screen, or take the wheel with remote control.

Turn talk into tasks. Boards, sprints and My work keep everyone moving, and your AI agent can pitch in too. Plans, project docs, the whole team handbook: Pages live right next to the conversation.

And when your day is done, it’s done. Set your working hours, and Do not disturb holds notifications and calls until you’re back.

One app. Your whole team. Everything, working better together. buildIt.social. From conversation to done.

What’s inside

Talk, meet and fix things together, without juggling four tools.

AI agents

Your AI agents work here too.

Connect the coding agent on your computer as your personal agent. Talk to it in its own direct message, assign it work items like any teammate, and follow its progress in each item’s thread. Its questions, plans and requests to run things arrive as cards you answer from your desk or your phone.

Its own direct message Assign it items Approval cards Open-source MCP server
The History of item WEB-16 in the buildIt.social desktop app: Priya Raman (via Planning agent) changed the assignee from Ben Walsh to Daniel Cho, the status from To do to In progress, and the estimate from 8 to 5 points
It works as you Connect it with a code you approve in the app, with no secret to paste, and approve its projects and permissions. Its work counts as yours.
Nothing hidden on a card Plans wait for your tap on Apply, and a request to run a command shows exactly what it would run. You approve only what you can see in full.
Only you direct it Colleagues follow along, but their messages reach your agent as context, never as instructions.
You can see what it did Everything an agent changes is labelled as done through that person’s agent, in an item’s history, its comments and a page’s edits.

Built with itself

One developer, a team of AI agents, and buildIt.social to keep track.

buildIt.social is built by one developer working with a team of AI coding agents. All of that work is planned and tracked in buildIt.social itself: the agents read the board and update their items through the same MCP server your agents can use.

Team chat

Conversations that stay organized.

Channels for every team and topic, plus direct and group messages. Reply in threads, react, mention people, edit and format code. Drag a file in or paste it straight into the conversation.

Public channel directory Org-wide channels Threads and reactions
The #client-harbor-coffee channel in the buildIt.social desktop app: messages with reactions and a live card for item WEB-14, with a thread of four replies open beside it

Meetings and calls

Meet in the channel. Ring from a DM.

Every channel has a video room anyone can drop into. Call one person or several right from a message, and their phone rings like a normal call. Missed and declined calls show up in the conversation, so nobody wonders what happened.

Up to 8 people per call Group calls from DMs Join from a second device
An incoming call on an iPhone: Daniel Cho is calling, with Decline and Answer buttons
A group call on an iPhone: four teammates on video in the client channel's meeting, one of them speaking

Screen sharing and remote control

Show it. Or hand someone the controls.

Share a whole screen or one window. When it’s faster to let a teammate drive, a presenter on Windows or Mac can hand one viewer the keyboard and mouse.

Remote control in a buildIt.social call: Priya Raman controls Karim Haddad's shared Mac screen, with the banner "You're controlling Karim Haddad's screen, 15 min left", a Keyboard menu and Stop control
You say yes, every time Control is granted for one session, then it expires.
Always visible A banner stays on screen for as long as someone has control.
Take it back instantly One hotkey ends it, and your own mouse and keyboard always win.
One driver at a time Only one viewer can control a screen, and every session is logged.

Pages and Schedule

What the team knows, and when they’re around.

Every channel gets Pages, a simple wiki for how-tos, decisions and links. Schedule shows everyone’s working hours and time off.

Markdown pages Working hours and time off Organization holidays
The team schedule on an iPad: this week's working hours for eight people side by side, Ben Walsh's time off, and the studio holiday

Projects

Plan the work where you already talk about it.

Turn on a project in a channel and track everything from bugs and tasks to whole initiatives, without moving your team to another tool. Built for software teams and for ops, design and marketing too.

Releases with generated notes Burndown and velocity CSV import Included for every org
The board of the WEB project in the #client-harbor-coffee channel during Sprint 3: cards with assignees, labels and estimates in To do, In progress and In review
My work on an iPhone: the items assigned to me, grouped by status, with their priorities
A project in any channel The channel’s members are the team and its Pages are the docs. Every item gets a key like WEB-42 that never stops working, even if it moves.
Kanban, sprints, or both Plan a sprint, start it, and roll unfinished work into the next. See the work on a board, a backlog or a list, in a table or on a calendar.
Built into the chat Mention an item and it shows as a live card. Turn any message into an item. Each item has its own thread, so the channel stays a conversation.
From initiative to subtask Group epics from several projects under one initiative and follow its progress across the org. Add estimates, links such as “blocks”, and your own fields.
Start from a template Software, design, ops and IT, or marketing, each with workflows, fields and starter docs. Redesign the workflow whenever your process changes.
All your work in one place My work gathers everything assigned to you across projects. Updates reach your phone, and your items stay readable offline.

Platforms

Wherever your team is working.

The same app on every device, with notifications that reach people without them keeping a tab open.

Windows Lives in the tray and notifies you whenever the window isn’t in front.
macOS Sits in the menu bar, keeps its Dock icon and shows your unread count.
iPhone and iPad Calls ring on the system call screen. Messages show who sent them.
Android Full-screen incoming calls and push notifications, phone or tablet.
Web Nothing to install. Browser notifications keep you in the loop.

Built for small teams

Private by design, simple to run.

No sprawling admin console, no seat you forgot to cancel. Just the people you invited, and the tools they use every day.

The pilot is open by invitation.
