What buildIt.social is

buildIt.social brings your team’s conversations, meetings and work into one app. Everyone in your org uses the same place to talk, meet, write things down and track what’s getting done.

Your org#

Everything in buildIt.social happens in an org: your company’s or team’s own space. Its owners and admins decide who joins, by invite. Messages, pages and files belong to the org they’re posted in, and only its members can see them. You can belong to more than one org and switch between them (Switching orgs).

What you can do#

Chat#

Talk in channels, one for each team, topic or customer, and reply in threads to keep side conversations tidy. For one-to-one or small-group conversations, use DMs (direct messages). You can share files and pictures, react to messages, and mention people so they’re notified.

Calls and meetings#

Start a meeting in any channel with Start or join a meeting, or call someone from a DM with Call. In a call you can share your screen and, when someone allows it, control their computer remotely to help them out.

Pages#

Every channel has its own Pages: documents your team writes and keeps up to date together, such as how-tos, meeting notes and plans. The Pages section shows them all in one place.

Schedule#

The Schedule shows when your teammates work and when they’re away: their working hours, time off and your org’s holidays, by day, week or month.

Projects#

Plan and track your team’s work in Work: projects with items, boards, sprints and releases, and My work for everything assigned to you. See Projects.

Agents#

Bring AI agents into your work. You can talk to them in the app, give them work items, and approve what they do before they do it. See Working with agents.
