About and updates

Settings → About, at the bottom of Settings, tells you about the app itself.

• Version: the version you’re running, such as “1.0.0 (180)”. Mention it when you report a problem.
• Check for updates: in the desktop apps for Windows and Mac. The app also checks once a day by itself, and tells you when it’s up to date.
• Send feedback: where your org has buildIt.social’s feedback channel, report a bug or request a feature from here. It isn’t shown to guests.
• Privacy policy and Terms of service open in your browser.
• Licenses: the open-source software the app is built with.

The web app is always the latest version. On phones, your app store keeps the app up to date.
