Switching and leaving orgs

One account can belong to several orgs. You switch between them from the account menu, as Switching orgs explains, or from inside Settings.

Switch orgs in Settings#

If you’re in more than one org, Settings lists them under Organizations, above the current org’s pages. Pick one and you stay in Settings, on the same page for the new org if you can see it there, or on its Overview.

Leave an org#

1. Switch to the org you want to leave.
2. Open Settings → Overview and select Leave organization at the bottom.
3. Confirm with Leave.

You lose access right away. Your messages stay. To come back, you need a new invite.

If you’re the org’s last owner, you can’t leave until you make someone else an owner: an org always needs one. See Change a member’s role.
